rear caked with poop.  Brought her in, 20 min warm bath, gently wiped off poopy feathers, inside in cage with heater, drank a little water, ate a little
scrambled egg - not sure how to check for an egg - not familiar enough to know what to feel for - oh, also put a little olive oil on and inside her rear -

not coming out the coop I took her into my house.

			<description><![CDATA[ first off, i&#39;m glad to find this forum.  I have 5 Rhode Island Red chickens--2 roosters and 3 hens. They are about 6 months old.  Today when I was out
feeding them i found the rooster laying on his side and not willing to move around unless I make him.  He will get up to eat a bit and drink some, but goes
right back to laying down.  he&#39;s normally really fiesty, won&#39;t let me near him and will bite if we get near him.  he allowed me to pick him up and

			<title><![CDATA[ Infected toe on turkey? Pic included ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ My favorite turkey hen has a problem with one toe. It looks like the toe is dying. It doesn&#39;t appear to be holding any pus. The bottom of the toe is not
quite as white. It does not look like bumblefoot because there doesn&#39;t appear to be a hard core anywhere. She doesn&#39;t appear to have any scaley leg
mites either. It was very painful to her when I cleaned it with Betadine a little while ago.

			<description><![CDATA[ We keep 6 chooks that free range a bit during the afternoons and on weekends.  Other than that they have a small hen house where they roost and a much larger
run where they spend time when we are not home.  One of our hens has developed a split beak - we are a bit concerned about it as the spit seems to be getting
longer.  It doesn&#39;t appear to be affecting her feeding but would like to investigate stopping the split before it gets worse and her health is affected.

			<description><![CDATA[ We bought 21 baby chicks. (7 each) Australorp, RH Reds, and Barred Rocks. They are all 11 days old. One of the Rhodies is much smaller than the rest and really
weak/lethargic. She can walk and stand but is definatley not right. She gets trampled by the others and just lays there. When I pick her up she doesn&#39;t try
to get away or even chirp like the others. I&#39;m afraid that she&#39;s going to die. Should I seperate her form the others? Is there anything I can do? They

			<description><![CDATA[ i have a 6 month old goose who broke the bottom of her bill the part under her tongue. I believe this happened last night (Thursday , Sept. 17).I noticed it at
about 5 pm tonight it is not bleeding and it looks not infected but all she has been doing today is sleeping. I don&#39;t think she can eat i gave her some
bread and watched and she couldn&#39;t pick it up. I am scared if she can&#39;t eat can she get anything to drink. She is also laying right now she just

			<title><![CDATA[ MY CHICKEN JUST FELL OVER ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I just walked out to my chicken coop and my 6 month old Brahm is lying on the ground unable to stand. Her legs just dont work and she looks like she is dying.
I carried her to the inside part of the coop and she is just lying on her side unable to move. There has been no incident with her and her poop is normal and
she has been eating normally.

Saying that, in the last few weeks she has on occasion been a little clumsy.

But right is taking that same shape....He was being attacked by his mama, so I separated him from her.  I dont know if it is injury or disease.....  they are

			<title><![CDATA[ Cockerel with rash on his back end ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>My light sussex cockerel has a rash on his back end.  He appeared to start moulting a few weeks ago - lost his big tail feathers and a few round the neck. 
He&#39;s just over a year old, so not moulted before.  He&#39;s perfectly happy, chases his girls, crows for ages and drop kicks us if we are naughty! </p>

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>One of our half silkie chicks (other half is rumpless tufted araucana as Azul got to my silkie hen one day lol) has an unusual problem.  It became weak to
the point where it could hardly walk and it carries one of it&#39;s feet in a fist.  So, I put it on GQF vitamins plus.  It regained it&#39;s strength in a
weeks time and was walking normally.  So after 2 weeks I quit putting the GQF in the water.

			<title><![CDATA[ Pet Turkey has Air Pockets on his face ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ We have two pet turkeys that recently survived Avian Pox.  While the male had Avian Pox, he was swollen with air.  The vet said one of the pox grew on an air
duct and made him swell with air.  All the pox are gone now and have been for several weeks.  We noticed the other day that the male turkey had a air pocket on
one of his cheeks and now he has another on the other cheek.  They are right under his eyes and are really only air.  Does anyone know what this might be?

2 very bloody stools.  Went immediately to look it up and everyone seems to suggest cocidiosis and said to deal with it fast.  So put coxoid (amprolium) in
their water straight away.  Then cleaned out house completely, keeping it dry and using stalosan.
