			<description><![CDATA[ I have 11 Cornish Cross, and about 20 &#39;heavy&#39; chicks (Wyndottes and Barred Rocks) with another 11 guineas.  All are two weeks old.

Currently they are all together and getting a high protein feed, gamebird.  I would now like to start restricting food for the Cornish Cross and feed a lower
(21%) feed.  Can I do this while the chicks are all together?  Will the restriction hurt the other birds?

			<description><![CDATA[ The time is coming for the Japanese beetle invasion.  I have 2 plum trees that get eaten alive before the plums ripen.  I was going to hand pick the bugs off
the trees and drop them into a jar with  soap and water to kill them.  But them I can&#39;t feed them to the girls after that.  Someone said to drop them in
oil and water.  Will the dead beetles be ok for the ladies once they have been in the oil and water concoction?  What kind of oil would be safest?

			<description><![CDATA[ I bought crickets from petsmart and the babies go crazy for them. i figured it was ok, because they eat other bugs!  is there anything that would be bad?!! and
can babies eat any size of mealworm, or they would need to have the small mealworms?  (i think the superworms are huge and scarry)  petsmart only have the huge
ones so i didnt get any.

nobody can eat.  You see, I use these frozen peas to help cool down the heat in the bottoms of my feet and toes from the inflammation.  Well, thawing and
refreezing these only works just so many times before you need a new bag.   However, my chickens think they are still yummy.  So, every 2-3  months my chickens

While out of town I had the chance to buy Nutrena, and in just 2 weeks it made a huge difference.

Unfortunately Im all out of the Nutrena.

I don&#39;t want to keep feeding Purina

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;m still trying out bags of feed. Some are pellets, some have actual grain particles in it. I think the chickens prefer the grain (little bits of corn,
etc.) Or maybe its my way of thinking. I feed mostly layer. The main ingredients are cracked corn &amp; soybean meal; then they have a bunch of vitamins &amp;
minerals in it too. Its 18%, from a mill that mixes their own. It looks like good stuff...... any ideas? ]]></description>
