least not yet]. About two weeks ago we found our female mallard duck killed and half eaten. She was in our hen run and all the chickens were ok. It must
have happened at night when the chickens were all in their coop. We were shocked to say the least. What would kill and partially eat a duck????

If you think you need a gun, get a GUN! A .22 rifle or .22 handgun is fine. Take a gun safety class, learn how to use it properly, and load it with hollow

It makes me grind my teeth when I read about people who find a raccoon or opossum or fox in their coop and "run for the pellet gun". Why bother? Is

please help with ideas. I can not even enjoy going into the coop to collect eggs anymore.

I live on 14 acres of woodland with many predators. Killing them off would be a full time, probably fruitless and illegal endeavour. Is it realistic to think
