I have an Appenzeller/Bantam Cochin cross chick that is roughly 7 weeks old and I think he has mareks disease. I first noticed him limping about 3 weeks ago,
I thought he just had a sprain so put him in the little pen I have in the middle of my yard with two other chicks his age to keep him company. Then yesterday I
saw that he could barely walk and that both of his legs now look paralyzed. I have put him in a tub in my outbuilding under a heatlamp, he has been eating,
drinking and pooping...

they were about 4 months. I have another chicken (not sure which one) that seems to be doing the same thing. When I go into the little coop there is a broken

I went to the coop this morning and Lady Marmalade (a 6 year old Buff Orp) and making loud breathing sounds and dark brown was dripping from her mouth. She
was in the nestbox last night, which I thought was strange. She hasn't laid an egg for a long time (I think because of age, and the trauma of a coon
attack in June). Her abdomen isn't exceptionally firm or large. She has no palpable crop. I leaned her over a little and alot of dark brown fluid came...
