			<title><![CDATA[ Breed? What's a breed? ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Actually I&#39;m joking. I know what breeds are, but if you looked at my chicken coop you might think differently, it&#39;s quite a mixture. I said in another
post I have eight breeds, it&#39;s interesting to see what comes from this mixing! One of those eight (a hen) was hatched before me and my girlfirend took
charge of the coop from a friend and so may herself be a mix. She&#39;s our sense of &quot;continuity&quot; in the flock and our top rooster is hers from last
year.

			<description><![CDATA[ Hi, all! I&#39;m down to four pullets and three cockerels. I&#39;ll eventually pick one of the boys as my flock sire. They are shaping up so nicely! I dont
recall any of my 13 week old kids being this huge other than maybe the BBS Orps. I have an 11 month old Delaware pullet left from my first hatch and she will
be with them, but I have tried twice to put her in. Those young stud see that red comb and they go after her with a vengeance! She is so mild mannered, not

			<description><![CDATA[ Check this chicken sized bird from an Indonesian island!!!!   Yahoo did a feature on it today.  Appears to look a little like a guinea  (has a bony bulb on top
of it&#39;s head and yellow skin on face.  Has black upper parts and salmon under. It buries it&#39;s very large egg (5 times the size of a chicken egg) in the
volcanic sand, using sun &#39;s heat or volcanic heat to incubate it&#39;s egg!!  The chick can fly when it hatches and cares for itself!!  Called a Maleo and
is found only on... ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ My Newest Venture....Heritage Delawares ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ With the help of an awesome Delaware breeder, I am off and running on developing a good quality Delaware flock. Had a false start, hatched a batch, got two
girls and kept one cockerel. He had a comb flaw then developed an attitude so was culled. Then lost one point of lay pullet to a heart condition. Put the
remaining pullet in the laying flock temporarily. Hatched a new batch in February. Had 9 cockerels and  5 pullets. I currently still have four cockerels and
five pullet, though one pair... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Since nobody else is on here, I&#39;ll do all the talking.  I&#39;m in central Ind..  Bought 12 Serama eggs on E-bay from north central Ky..  100% began
developing, after all the bad I heard about Serama&#39;s fertility!  Last year, bought Call Ducks from Oh..  9 ducklings from 15 eggs!  Probably the best E-bay
egg results of the year, from what is supposed to be the most difficult breeds to hatch.  Could it be the amount of handling they get??  Close is good!!  Far
