Ok I'd really like to have a couple Rabbits in with our ducks for our girls to enjoy. What problems might I have to worry about? Will they get along? Will
the rabbits dig out and let the ducks out as well? What about feeding them since they will both have access to both food sources? It'd be adorable to look
out and see bunnies and duckies playing together but quite something else to explain to my 3 year old why that duck just pecked out the bunnies eye. Please
advise.

I really would never recommend letting rabbits run with any type of poultry/gamebirds/waterfowl, there are just too many things that can go wrong for the
rabbit.
1) YES, they will most definently dig out of the pen unless you have the wire fence burried underground a couple of feet. 2) I have heard of unaltered bucks chasing birds in his "territory", though I don't think much harm would be done. As for the ducks harming the rabbit... I don't really know the answer to that. 3) It would be hard to come up with a way for the rabbits to be able to access their food without the ducks doing so as well. The rabbits are not going to eat the duck food, but I promise that the ducks will eat the rabbit food (coming from experience... I spilled a bag of rabbit food in the barn one day and the ducks went crazy for it). ~ Nichole

Some ducks can be very territorial also. Rabbits and ducks would not play together, although I saw a video of a rabbit breeding a chicken (on america's
funniest videos)...so I guess there is a possibility of them interacting somewhat, but not how you are envisioning.
Also, many rabbits will fight if left together, bucks more so than does. |

Thank you for your replies. Like i said if it would work it would be great but if not pretty horrible. Looks like we'll just have to stick with the ducks.
