Hi folks,
I promised that I would try to be a bit more sociable and post a bit more. So to get started I decided to share with you my latest endeavor. Since January I
left my job. A well paying, fully benefitted, with good leave policies. It was a nightmare-job; without getting into specifics, which I am guessing everyone
has experienced before.
Any ways, I decided to reach back into the past and begin to take my creativity more seriously. I began the beginnings of a product line with my own designs.
I have been attending our Farmer's and Craft Market every Wednesday and Saturdays. So far the reception has been fickle, but growing.
Here are some pics of my products. This is the entire table I set out each day I am at the Market. Additionally I have two dozen placed in a local Gallery in
Mesilla, New Mexico (the town that tried Billy the Kid). So double the picture quantity and that is my current inventory. I have been taking it nice and
slowly, perhaps cautiously, with my expenses.
Product:
I call my product "Enchanted Rose".
Here is a pic of the assembly process. These will be two more small Rock setting Roses. I suppose they are paperweights. The stones are handpainted local
lava stone; designed to resemble semiprecious material, sort of whimsical.
ok, that is it for now.

This picture might help in seeing that the aluminum is on the bottom part of the petal, and the
colored paper (purple swirls) is on the top. It reflects back at itself with light.
This a batch from two years ago. In perspective, just think of a magic wand. The bloom is 4 inches
across, it has a bit of weight to it, and the stem is 2 feet long. I could be a weapon in the wrong hands LOL; the metal on these is very stiff; it can hurt
rolling the stuff by hand after a while.
