Got me stumped. I thought the only ones that layed green or blue eggs were Easter Eggers, Americanas and Auracanas. Hope someone with more knowledge comes
along. They look like Dominiques or Marans or Barred Rocks. Rocks and Marans I know lay brown eggs. The comb on the roo looks like it has been dubbed or
frostbitten at one time or another. Are the hens combs the same way?
I'm no spring chicken, but I'm still kickin

The combs are all the same on all the birds. Theyare around 7-8 months old. I was thinking maybe Dominiques crossed with EEs. There was a barred rock rooster
where I picked them up, but there was many different breeds there to.

If the hens have the same type comb then that leaves out frostbite. Then they could very well be crossed with EE. They are nice looking birds.

Congrats to your son. He looks so proud, and has every reason to be. If they won over pure breeds, they sound like very nice birds.
