I'm looking for some help with my rooster. "George's" basic information is as follows - He was bought at a small animal auction last Fall. He is(as far as I know) and Old English Game Bantam, and is Male. He is (judging by spurs but I could be wrong) two to three years old. He has gotten picked on and gets into scraps with the larger hens and roosters in the coop, although things have settled down. In the past week, an old, yellow lump appeared above/in front of his left eyelid. I cannot tell if it is swelling or pus, or otherwise. He had gotten in a fight and had a small scabbed wound on the back of his head which did heal, but is now also slightly swollen and yellowish. I would really appreciate anybody putting their advice in, or asking more questions. I've grown up with chickens and this is the first real problem I've encountered with them.
Hopefully these two photos will help. They're a bit blurry, but I can take more if necessary. George here has got me a little worried. Thanks for any advice or help in advance!
